Appriss named one of Kentucky’s ‘Best Places to Work’

VINE® provider places in Top Ten of mid-size companies

Louisville, Ky.- Appriss Inc. has been named a winner in the second annual “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” competition coordinated by the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management State Council in conjunction with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

Appriss was ranked tenth among medium-sized companies of 25 up to 199 employees. The selection process is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey.

Appriss CEO Doug Cobb believes the company ranked in the top ten because management values employees’ contributions and recruits workers who share their values.

“We’ve assembled the best team available,” Cobb said. “And if workers are happy in their jobs, the company is more likely to be successful. That’s why we offer things like flexible schedules, a great health care plan and a generous family leave policy.

“We’re thrilled to have been named one of Kentucky’s Best Places to Work, and we hope to make that list again and again,” Cobb added.

The Best Places to Work in Kentucky program is a multi-year initiative to motivate Kentucky businesses to focus, measure, and move their workplace environment towards excellence.

The winners were announced at a March 30 luncheon in Lexington, Kentucky and published statewide in a special supplement of Business Lexington, a Central Kentucky business journal.
